Mid Canterbury is host to a wide and varied range of conferencing facilities and meeting venues. Optimal group sizes for single room occupancy range is up to 180 people. Our larger conferences and meetings facilities are achievable with day conferencing capacity of up to 500 in either the Ashburton Trust Event Centre or Methven Heritage Centre. Smaller executive meeting facilities showcase some of the most unique & scenic in the country, all with fantastic AV resources, on-site accommodation and incredible dining options.

Mid Canterbury offers plenty of quality accommodation options for all, combined with friendly service. You can stay in luxury lodges or boutique accommodation, where you go to bed and wake to spectacular views that you didn't know existed. Or perhaps your choice is something more urban. We have plenty of motels, hotels, bed and breakfast, resorts to accommodate your event.

Airborne Activities - Choose from one of the many airborne adventures on offer - From a gentle Hot Air Balloon flight, or experience one of our fixed wing or helicopter flights including alps and glaciers experiences.

Water Adventures - In addition to pleasurable boating, kayaking, swimming and fishing, the many rivers and lakes make for fun experiences.
