New Zealand’s MEETINGS 2021 is confirmed for 2 and 3 June in Auckland, with its Hosted Buyer Programme launching early in 2021. Organised by Business Events Industry Aotearoa (BEIA), MEETINGS has always been a much-anticipated date on the business events calendar.

New Zealand’s only showcase for the business events industry this year, BE Reconnected brought together over 420 event organisers and suppliers from around the country in Auckland today.

Formerly Conventions and Incentives New Zealand (CINZ), Business Events Industry Aotearoa represents 460 members across New Zealand who work within the meetings, incentives, conferences and conventions, and exhibitions sector.

Hawke’s Bay has secured hosting rights for the 2021 Business Events Industry Aotearoa (BEIA) conference. The three-day, three-night event will be in held in October next year, one year after 2020 event, which was planned for Hawke’s Bay, was cancelled due to Covid-19.

International education policy-makers, practitioners and experts from around the world will descend on Auckland in 2021 for the Asia-Pacific Association for International Education (APAIE) Annual Conference and Exhibition. The three-day conference and exhibition will be held at the New Zealand International Convention Centre (NZICC) and is expected to attract more than 1,700 delegates and 200 exhibitors, who will stay a total of 8,700 visitor nights and contribute an estimated spend of $3.3 million while they are here.
