Synthony to headline MEETINGS 2026 Electric Garden celebration

Press Release 23 April 2026

Global orchestral-electronic fusion act Synthony is set to headline the MEETINGS 2026 finale at the New Zealand International Convention Centre (NZICC) on 18 June.

Electric Garden closes the two-day MEETINGS exhibition run by Business Events Industry Aotearoa (BEIA), which draws meetings and events professionals from New Zealand, Australia, Asia-Pacific, China and North America.

BEIA Head of Event Delivery, Chris Peak says the night promises a sensational finale for 700 guests.

“The spectacular NZICC Te Paepae theatre will be transformed into a vibrant, festival‑inspired garden after dark, full of bold, bright colour and pulsing with energy.”

The highlight will be Synthony, whose fusion of orchestral power and electronic beats has captivated audiences across New Zealand and Australia.

The Events Group, Auckland Convention Bureau, Flock Events, The Production Agency, NZICC, and Hire Plants have partnered with BEIA to bring the night to life.

"We've brought together New Zealand's leading event production and design specialists. Guests can expect standout food, and live entertainment in a totally reimagined space," Peak says.

MEETINGS 2026 takes place on 17 and 18 June at Auckland's New Zealand International Convention Centre (NZICC) with 215 exhibitors from every region of the country under one roof.

Business event organisers travelling from outside Auckland to attend MEETINGS can access a $100 flight rebate, discounted airport transfers with SkyDrive Express shuttle service, and industry accommodation rates.

Day buyers have the opportunity to purchase tickets to the MEETINGS Electric Garden Celebration. They also receive priority registration for the Celebrity Speakers NZ Showcase lunchtime sessions and can pre-schedule appointments with exhibitors. The format allows flexibility to move through the show at their own pace across both days.

Registration is now open online at the MEETINGS website.
