The BEIA Annual Conference provides both Members and non Members with the opportunity to forge connections with industry peers while engaging in workshops and absorbing insights from inspirational speakers, all aimed at advancing their professional growth. Held around the regions in New Zealand, the Annual Conference also affords attendees the chance to explore and appreciate various regions of the country each year.
BEIA takes great pleasure in supporting several Industry Awards initiatives. The Annual Conference Gala Dinner serves as a celebration for the sector, highlighted by the presentation of the annual Outstanding Contributor Award. Additionally, BEIA proudly sponsored the BEIA-Outstanding Contributor Award at the annual NZEA Awards for the first time in 2023.
Looking ahead, BEIA will be supporting the annual Business Events Awards programme, commencing in early 2025.
Embracing the sentiment “Better than a thousand days of diligent study, is one day with a great mentor” we hold the BEIA BE Mentored Programme in high regard. Now entering its second decade, the programme facilitates mentorship pairings, with seasoned industry professionals guiding emerging talent within the business events sector.
