From Picton 2 hours and Blenheim 1.5 hours along the State Highway 1 coastal road. Along the 60km stretch of the Kaikōura coastline is Cultural Artwork Trail that invite community & visitors alike to take a break, enjoy the beautiful views and reflect on our rich local history. There is an airstrip 5km south of the Kaikōura township for scenic flights and charters.
The nearest international airport is in Christchurch. With the nearest regional airport being in Blenheim. Travelling between Christchurch and Picton, the Coastal Pacific train isn't just a scenic activity, combined with the Interislander Ferry it is the perfect way to connect between Wellington, Blenheim, Kaikōura and Christchurch.
