The Edgar Centre is one of Dunedin’s most valuable and well utilised assets. A multi-functional facility the Centre caters to a wide variety of users – sport & recreation, events, exhibitions and functions, all supported with a fully functioning hospitality operation.

Open nearly 365 days of the year, the main hall has 14,400 sq. metres of floor space which hosts regular community sport and sporting events, along with a variety of Trade Shows and Exhibitions.

The Edgar Centre’s versatility was transformed in 2005 with the addition of the More FM Arena (Dunedin’s Premier Events Centre), capable of seating 3000 people on comfortable retractable seating for major sports matches, it is also ideal for auditorium style lectures or conferences.
