McLean Park

Established in 1911, the McLean Park complex comprises an indoor stadium (the Centennial Event Centre) and an international standard outdoor sportsground and stands. The venue’s crowd capacity consists of 3,319 in the Graeme Lowe Stand, 3,674 in the Harris Stand plus 12 Accessible, 786 in the Rodney Green Stand, 620 in the Chapman stand and 7,000 on the Embankment. Home to the Hawke’s Bay Magpies and the Central Districts Cricket Association, these two sporting codes, at both provincial and international levels, are the main users of the facility.

Other events hosted at McLean Park have included music concerts, pipe band contests, displays, and marching competitions.
