Overview
The New Zealand International Convention Centre (NZICC) is your place to gather, connect, and belong. Located in the heart of Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, NZICC is Aotearoa’s only venue with official International Convention Centre status, proudly carrying the FernMark as a symbol of global excellence.
Purpose-built to host a diverse range of international and local events, NZICC brings together modern design, advanced technology, and an unwavering commitment to manaakitanga — the spirit of warm hospitality and care for all who enter. This philosophy underpins every interaction, ensuring each guest feels welcomed, respected, and connected.
Inspired by Tāne’s realm, our open, light-filled spaces breathe life into every event. With a footprint of over 30,000sqm, the venue features 33 flexible spaces designed in collaboration with industry experts to support seamless planning and delivery. Adaptable layouts, including movable walls, allow spaces to be reconfigured to suit changing event needs. At its heart is the 2,852-seat Te Paepae Theatre, which can be divided into two separate theatres or transformed into a flat floor space for banquets and cocktail events. Ariki Hall offers 6,674 sqm of divisible exhibition space, complemented by a range of meeting rooms for breakout sessions, workshops, and smaller gatherings.
NZICC’s flexibility supports everything from intimate meetings of 20 to large-scale conferences and exhibitions of up to 4,500 delegates. Every space is designed to adapt, enabling organisers to create experiences that are both practical and memorable.
Our food philosophy celebrates the best of New Zealand’s seasonal produce, while our commitment to sustainability and the Tiaki Promise ensures every event respects people and place. Grounded in culture and shaped for the future, we create experiences that connect communities and inspire ideas.
