Overview
Nelson City Council has a venue to suit all occasions and events.
TRAFALGAR CENTRE
The Trafalgar Centre is just a 10-minute stroll to Nelson’s vibrant city centre and a 15-minute ocean-side drive from the airport. Recently upgraded, the Centre was named the 2019 EVANZ Medium Venue of the Year. The Main Arena is ideal for, trade shows, conference, and awards dinners. Book alone or in addition to the elegant new northern extension. The Northern Extension is a new, light-filled venue, opening onto surrounding gardens and waterways. Ideal for mid-scale events, pre-function, break-out or exhibition space.
FOUNDERS HERITAGE PARK
Founders Heritage Park is a replica historic village of Nelson’s early days (circa 1880-1930) featuring heritage displays, railway, cafe and working artisans. A multi-faceted and flexible venue with five unique and very different spaces.
PŪTANGITANGI GREENMEADOWS CENTRE
The newly opened centre is one of the most easily accessed and central venues available, located on the main road of Stoke, and just 10 minutes’ drive to Nelson, Richmond and the airport. The venue hosts six rooms with varying capacity from 10 to 260 people.
