Overview

The Sir Howard Morrison Centre re-opened in 2023 following a multi-million dollar refurbishment. This category 1 heritage building combines Spanish Mission style architecture with contemporary Māori design to offer an elegant venue for conferences, tradeshows and gala dinners. The sun-filled foyer offers 8m high ceilings and the 950 seat Sir Owen Glenn Theatre I Matangi Rau provides inspiring plenary space.
