Dunedin Venues is home to the most sophisticated and versatile event facilities in southern New Zealand. Our outstanding venues offer state of the art technology, a contemporary environment and a dedicated team of event specialists. Whether your guest list is 30 or 35,000, we have the perfect venue for you. Additionally, we have a great team of experienced professionals to support you and go beyond your expectations.
Dunedin Centre
The Dunedin Centre combines the very best heritage features with state-of-the-art facilities. The grand style of the Dunedin Centre makes an impressive setting for any event. Located in the centre of the city you'll find the very best in business events, conference and performance facilities – it's the perfect blend of old-world style and modern convenience.
The Dunedin Town Hall is the largest of the Dunedin Centre's facilities, accommodating up to 2,300 people for performances or tradeshows or up to 550 for a formal seated dinner.
The Glenroy Auditorium, at half the size, is suitable for smaller events or more intimate functions for up to 400 people.
Forsyth Barr Stadium
Forsyth Barr Stadium is not just a Stadium, it is a truly multipurpose facility that can adapt to your needs. The main Stadium is the best choice for large capacity events such as major expos and concerts. For events, meetings and conferences where the main pitch would be too large, there's a variety of smaller suites and lounges to offer the perfect setup within this architectural icon.
We don’t just offer you our venues, we offer you the experience of Dunedin and a professional team that is always there for you.
All our venues are perfectly located and easily accessible. During the breaks, your guests can discover all the beautiful corners of Dunedin. Many of the city’s attractions are within 30 minutes of the Octagon, making it easy to expand the itinerary past the event that you are hosting.

With every booking at our venues, we assign a dedicated Event Co-ordinator who will work alongside you and help make your event to be a success. They have a wealth of experience and are happy to share their knowledge with you.
Our Staff can support you in all areas. Whether it is related to catering or lighting, room layout or theming, you can count on us. Our Event Management and Coordination Team will help you through the entire process from the initial call to the final pack out and clean up.
We are by your side, not only on the day of your event, but during your whole journey, to make sure things run smoothly.
Dunedin Venues can cover all your needs for your event. We have an exclusive catering provider, an experienced Technology Services Team, and a professional security provider. We can also provide support if you are interested in theming your event.
Catering
Restaurant Associates is our exclusive catering provider and is dedicated to great food and great service. They provide sumptuous food using seasonal produce wherever possible. The innovative menus are sure to tempt and impress your guests. We can tailor menu options to any event, and we're happy to accommodate special dietary requests e.g. vegetarian, vegan, halal meat or gluten-free.
Technology
Let our technology enhance your event. Dunedin Venues Technology Services Team can bring your event to life with lighting design and innovative projection. We also work closely with local audio-visual experts, who provide high-quality technical solutions to meet any event requirements such as audio-visual, lighting, event production, conference and technical support services for events of any size.

We have partnered with a highly trained, professional, specialist security provider to handle event security, providing every service you might need including:
